Congregation B’nai Israel’s USY program is aimed at High School students. They usually meet on Sundays, from 6:00 to 8:00 PM, in our Youth Lounge. They benefit from our on-site, experienced Youth Advisor who assists them with planning and coordinating all events. USY, sponsored by the United Synagogue, offers students both national and international opportunities: travel abroad, to Israel and Europe; cross-country bus trips (USY on Wheels); national and international conventions; regional and state events, such as dances, social action projects, Shabbaton in the Catskills, and Encampment week in Pennsylvania; and local events, such as trips to New York City, and Sunday evening get-togethers in our Youth Lounge.
