We would like to introduce you to our Gan Yeladim preschool program. Our goal is to provide a warm, stimulating atmosphere that allows your child to grow, learn, and socialize in a Jewish environment. We aim to foster a positive self-image along with a love of learning through our complete readiness curriculum, which includes activities such as arts and crafts, language, mathematics, science, social studies, holiday celebrations, stories, music and movement, cooking, sports, computers, class trips, and free play. Our “Gan” graduates leave ready to face all of the academic and social challenges that elementary school brings.
Gan Yeladim, established in 1984, offers a variety of facilities that enhances your child’s preschool experience. In addition to our classrooms, we have a full-size gym, an indoor and outdoor playground, a library, and a fully equipped kitchen. Eight staff members teach our sixty students.
We are presently offering sessions for children ranging from two to five years old. We also offer extended days and enrichment programs. Our “Ima and Me” (Mommy and Me) program for toddlers ages 16 to 30 months is available on Wednesday mornings. A pre-kindergarten enrichment program is offered on Tuesdays and a kindergarten enrichment program is offered on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Those who enroll their children in Gan Yeladim can be assured that they will be fostering learning in a nurturing, fun, and academically challenging environment that will embrace his or her Jewish heritage.
Our school is open to prescheduled visits. Please feel free to request an appointment to visit us by contacting the Congregation B’nai Israel Synagogue office Monday through Friday and asking for the Director of Gan Yeladim preschool. We are very proud of our school and love to show it off.
