The latest Parents’ Manual is available for download.

The mission of the Congregation B’nai Israel Religious School is to enable our graduating students:
- To have a strong, positive Jewish identity.
- To know their heritage and history.
- To understand the concepts behind and the celebrations of the Jewish holidays.
- To have a basic understanding of Tanach (Torah, Prophets, and Writings).
- To understand and feel a commitment to Jewish ethics.
- To be able to participate fully in a Jewish service, i.e., to decode Hebrew fluently and to achieve an understanding of prayer.
- To transfer what is learned at school to home and life.
Examples of topics included in the curriculum are:
- The Decoding of Hebrew
- Observance of Holidays and the Sabbath
- Bible Studies
- Traditions
- Music
- Kashrut
- Israel
- Anti-Semitism
- The Torah Portion of the Week
- Jewish History
- Bar and Bat Mitzvah Preparation
Our students begin their Judaic learning as young as Pre-kindergarten and complete their studies in twelfth grade. We pride ourselves on individual Bar and Bat Mitzvahs for each of our youth. We strive to enhance the learning experience for each child.
