Miss Lynn’s kindergarten enrichment class at Gan Yeladim, in Rumson’s Congregation B’nai Israel, is centered on people and teaches about places throughout the world. Established in 1994 to provide an exciting learning environment that goes above and beyond the kindergarten curriculum, the ratio of four to six children per teacher enables every child to receive plenty of individual attention.
The enrichment program in this temple’s kindergarten incorporates cognitive development through arts and crafts, dramatic play, cooking, reading, writing, and mathematics.
Students are introduced to world cultures as they learn about such nations as Israel, France, Spain, Italy, Mexico and countries in Africa. Parents continually praise the program as they notice how much their children learn and how much they look forward to coming to class. The classes meet on Tuesdays and Thursdays, mornings and afternoons.
For more information contact the Congregation B’nai Israel Synagogue office Monday through Friday and ask for the Director of Gan Yeladim preschool.
