Freezer
Needed
Does anyone have a small meat
freezer they can donate to CBI? We need a freezer so that at various
times during the year, meals can be made, frozen, and be available for the
Community of Caring to deliver to congregants in need.
Thanks
for Bringing About Purim Cheer
The Sisterhood of CBI would like
to thank all the fabulous volunteers for helping to create beautiful baskets
and bring about Purim cheer!

HOSPITAL VISITS BY THE RABBI
AND CANTOR
Because of the HIPPA laws, Rabbi
and Cantor are not informed by the hospital when a congregant has been
hospitalized. If you or someone you know from the congregation are in the
hospital, please notify:
Rabbi Bloom, 732-842-1800 x203 or Cantor Barugel, 732-842-1800
x205. Or email them. Check
here for an email link for the Rabbi or Pat Mieth, our clergy secretary.
LET US KNOW
If you have a simcha or good news to share, please let the office
know so that we can wish you Mazel Tov in our bulletin. Call
Allison Newfeld, our Administrator, at: 732-842-1800 x202 or check here for an email
link to Allison or Judy Kochis.
ADULT EDUCATION
Are you interested in Adult
Education at B’nai Israel? If you would like to be on the Adult Education
Committee and have a say in speakers, classes, and activities offered, please
contact Linda
Davies or the synagogue office.
ENDOWMENT FUND
Our Endowment Fund is
like an insurer of the future of Congregation B'nai Israel. It is also a vehicle for perpetuating your family name in the annals of our synagogue. Although Frank and Dora Siegfried, may their memory be for a blessing, contributed shares of Exxon stock back in 1984, we still think of and mention them today, 22 years later. There are many ways you can support the Fund. Please contact Joel
Whitman or the synagogue office if you care to
learn more about the Fund and how it has
helped our shul over the past years.
CBI OFFICE HOURS
PLEASE NOTE: Main
office hours during the winter are:
Monday-Thursday 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM
Friday – 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM
MI SHE-BERACH (PRAYER FOR THE SICK)

she-berachs will be acknowledged for 4 Shabbats. If you need the mi she-berach to be continued, please call the office to request an extension.
YAHRZEIT REMINDER
Check with the office if you are unsure whether we
have a record of all the yarhrzeits you want
the synagogue to acknowledge. We will need the
deceased’s name, date, and time of death.
USCJ NEWS
Check out the United Synagogue of Conservative
Judaism’s website, www.uscj.org. It’s loaded with wonderful articles and information, a great resource site.
