The halls of the Gan are always lively, filled with the delightful sounds of children playing and learning. October was a busy month for us – learning about the Jewish holidays and welcoming the new season. We enjoyed hearing the Rabbi blow the shofar, talked about mitzvot and the importance of tzedakah. We decorated the Sukkah and then snacked there during Sukkot, and paraded around the temple with flags and Torahs in celebration of Simchat Torah.

We held our second Parent Committee meeting and are very pleased to see the enthusiasm and participation from our parents. We know that working together in partnership we can continue to enhance our children’s preschool experience.
