Beginning Hebrew Course

Do you wish to learn how to pronounce the Hebrew letters, or just to review your pronunciation?  Can you read Hebrew but so slowly that following the prayer service is difficult?  We are offering a five week course in beginning Hebrew, starting at the very beginning.  All are welcome.  Contact Susan Gonen to register.

Sisterhood “Hanukkah” Cooking Class

Sunday, December 10, 9:00 AM

This is the second Sisterhood cooking class of the New Year, in the synagogue kitchen.  We will be making ricotta latkes, olive latkes and a cookie surprise.  The apple strudel and cheesecake kugel we made in the first class came out delicious.  For more information, call the synagogue office or Nancy Postelnek.  The cost is $10 per person.

Adult CPR and Defibrillator Training Session
Thursday, December 14, 12:30 PM – 2:30 PM

Did you know that CBI has a defibrillator?  Would you like to learn to use it?  If so, join us for a free, adult CPR and defibrillator training session.  Space is limited, so contact Allison Newfeld in the synagogue office to reserve a space.
