RELAY FOR LIFE
Members of the community will join the fight against
cancer on May 30 – 31, 2008, by participating in the
American Cancer Society’s Annual Relay For Life at
Red Bank Regional High School at 5pm.
Relay For Life is a unique community event that allows
individuals from all walks of life to join in the fight against
cancer. A representative from each team is always out on
the
track walking, jogging, or running.
Relay For Life is an overnight event that raises cancer
awareness and funds for research, education, advocacy,
and patient & family service programs. The event is a
celebration of life for survivors, a memorial for loved ones
lost,
and a rally for the community to fight cancer.
Cancer will strike more than 1.4 million times this year
and claim more than 565,000 lives. That’s why
Congregation B’nai Israel has made a commitment to
help the fight against cancer in making this disease a
thing
of the past.
